Do I have you in suspense as to the next new tactic in catching that beautiful brown or Rainbow Trout?  You should be, because what I am about to serve you is something  a little different from the mainstream…You see, like humans, fish look forward to, and anticipate a great meal, and absoluteleley love what food source is in season, so that being said lets perform a little biological operation.

When we catch our next trout, take the time to dissect the intestines of the fish to examine what food it has been been feeding on. Depending on the season, you may find grasshoppers, mud eyes, worms or power bait in its gut. Try and analyse what is the fishes preferred meal on the aquatic menu, and try and use this….

You will increase your catch rate considerably if you use great bait for the season…
