Jewfish or commonly known as Mulloway have been hunted by many a Fisherman for not only the challenge, but also the quality of the fish itself.

Fellow Angling colleagues that I have spoken to have caught these canal monsters, and lost them before having a chance to land them.

I have lost one myself!!!

The trick to catching these monsters is one virtue, and that is  PATIENCE.       Ensure drag is set correctly.

Always use live bait..Use Circle Hooks Wait  for the change in tide,Wait for two strong jerks of the rod tip.. WAIT PATIETLY!

Count to 5, LIFT ROD! Don’t jerk the rod. Keep tension on rod at all times whilst allowing Jew to run.

Go with the Jewfish and not pulling to hard at the rod.Allow fish to tire out.

Hopefully you will have one to skite about for s lifetime…
